The practice of Gibson Young was formed in 1999 as the result of the amalgamation of two local firms of Solicitors, Christopher Young & Co and Geo H Gibson & Co.

Geo H Gibson & Co has served the local community since 1934 from our offices close to Clapham Junction mainline station.

A professional service is provided by a good mix of solid practical advice, the adoption of modern technology which continues to evolve and professional qualified staff who offer a wide range of expertise and specialisation.

Our clients comment on our courtesy, friendliness, ease of access, the personal links and on the flexible service that we offer. Our reputation for nearly 70 years with a client base which extends over much of Southern England and many other parts of the country, is not something we rest upon but encourages us to make further enhancements.

The strengths of the Firm lie in the identification of alternatives for clients that are reasonably costed, have the best interests of clients at heart within the demands of ethical considerations and the Solicitors Regulations Authority Guidelines. We have particular property flair and expertise which we use not only for property advice but also in dealing with appropriate probate situations.

Within the firm internal second opinions are a regular part of reviewing client matters, stimulating the best solution and we encourage a continuous learning atmosphere for all staff.

We aim always to seek commercial oppotunities for clients. Sometimes that means nothing more than guiding a private client into an advantageous sale or purchase position.
